Leadership coaching is a process aimed at helping individuals build skills and learn strategies to maximise their team’s performance. Social Fabric Institute Inc.’s coaches work with leaders on a customized plan to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion within their team; assess their own leadership styles; and achieve objectives specific to their needs.

How does leadership coaching work?

Each person’s coaching program is tailored to them and their unique needs as a leader. Ranging from a single session up to several weeks of follow-up coaching and conversation, the process could include:

  • One-on-one conversation to facilitate careful questioning of a leader’s own style and existing strategies; This is an opportunity for self-reflection and straightforward feedback

  • The leader and their coach identify tangible objectives to work toward

  • Follow-up conversations take place as the leader works toward their diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives, to assess what is and isn’t working and how continued progress can be made
